Plaintiff’s Allegations - Reyes v Beverly Wilshire Hotel and Ace Specialty Maintenance (En español haga clic aquí)

We recently filed a proposed class-action lawsuit on behalf of Irma Reyes (the Plaintiff) against B. W. Hotel, LLC, (better known as BEVERLY WILSHIRE HOTEL (hereafter, “BEVERLY WILSHIRE” and ACE SPECIALTY MAINTENANCE (hereafter, “ACE” - the Defendants) for various perceived violations of the California Labor Code.

This case is for both Ms. Reyes and employees who worked as janitors at that hotel, located in Beverly Hills, during the past four years, i.e., since August, 2013.  The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court as Case Number BC 671842 (a copy of the complaint is attached).

In this lawsuit, filed on behalf of herself and those people who worked at the same job, Plaintiff claims that BEVERLY WILSHIRE and ACE did not comply with California law for payment of wages. If successful, a class action allows former and current employees to receive back wages that are owed to them.

The court has not yet ruled on any of Plaintiff's allegations or determined whether the case is appropriate for class action status.
