If you moved, perhaps you didn’t get your notice regarding the terms of the settlement. Maybe it was lost in the mail, or someone through it away.
No matter what, and even more importantly, if, as we assume, our motion for final approval is granted next month, then you need to watch your mail if you feel you’re part of this class.

Hooper v URS Midwest, Inc. (United Road Services, Inc.) - Case Filed 5/13/16
Our firm joined with the firm of Sundeen Salinas & Pyle and filed a proposed class-action lawsuit against URS Midwest, Inc.(hereafter, “URS”) and more commonly known as United Road on behalf of employees designated as Car Haulers who worked for URS in California at any time since May 13, 2012. The case is entitled Brent Hooper v URS MIDWEST, INC., Case No. civds1607489 in the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino (see copy of complaint attached).
In his lawsuit, filed on behalf of himself and all others similarly situated, the plaintiff (Mr. Hooper) contends that URS did not comply with the requirements under California law for payment of wages, including for failure to pay for rest periods, non-productive time, including but not limited to dead mileage, dead running or dead-heading for work performed pre-trip and post-trip, for completing necessary paperwork, for standby time and for time attending safety meetings. It also seeks damages for minimum wage violations, inaccurate wage statements and failure to pay all wages due at the time they were due or at the termination of the employee, and for unreimbursed business expenses.
If successful, a class action allows former and current employees to receive back wages that are owed to them.
The court has not yet ruled on any of Plaintiff's allegations or determined whether the case is appropriate for class action status.
