Update March 1, 2021 – Final Approval of the Settlement of the Case Has Been Granted By the Court!!!
Great News, isn’t it?
But! Do you believe you’re a member of the class? If so, did you get a notice on this case? If you believe you are a class member, then you should have gotten a notice from Simpluris, the company handling this matter. Many of you have called, asking about the delivery of the checks.
If you’re a class member, it’s up to you to make sure that Simpluris has your correct address and information. Please contact Simpluris immediately, if you moved in the past several years. Your data from Williams-Sonoma or MXD may be invalid and you might not get payment. So call Christina Fowler at Simpluris if you have any concerns about that at all at 714-640-5644.
And, if you feel you’ve been mistreated or underpaid or not gotten overtime, or were let go for fake or false reasons, or have any other legal issues, please feel free to call us at 818-547-5200 or 626-795-0205.
Or you can email us at tom@falveylaw.com.
We hope this helps each of you for the coming year! Thanks for your patience and your help.
Update: January, 2021 – Notices of Settlement Have Gone Out
We finally got the case settled late last year. Did you get a notice on this case? If you believe you are a class member, then you should have gotten a notice from the company handling this matter – Simpluris We know that many of you have been calling, asking about the delivery of the checks, and we apologize for the delay.
Because of various circumstances, including the coronavirus, the case was delayed several times. If you got a notice or letter regarding this case, be sure to respond as you believe fitting.
If you believe you’re a member of this class, and you didn’t get a notice from Simpluris yet, you need to contact Christina Fowler, whose phone number is
714.640.5644
Her email address is: cfrancisco@simpluris.com
If you call there, we recommend you make a note as to when you called, and with whom you spoke, and what you were told, so we might be better able to track the progress of information being received by class members.
Thanks very much – and we wish you an Excellent New Year!
Update: Motion for Preliminary Approval of Settlement Will Happen in June, 2020!
Because of the situation involving COVID-19, while we previously had a date set for the hearing to approve a settlement of this case, that date has been continued.
It’s now set to take place in June. But as you can understand, that might not necessarily happen. We are, of course, hopeful that the court will rule in our favor. Be sure to watch our website for further developments.
We’d be glad to hear from you if you believe that you are a potential class member in this case. You may be able to provide additional information, not only about your employment with Williams-Sonoma, but concerning anything that might have happened to you recently.
If you were fired, or simply told you no longer had a job recently, you might be entitled to unpaid wages or other relief. If you, your colleagues, friends or family want to discuss that, please contact us.
Just call 626-795-0205 or 818-547-5200. You can also email us at Tom@Falveylaw.com.
We’ll be grateful for whatever help you can provide, as well as for any questions you may have, whether it’s about this case, or any other employment matter.
Update: September 8, 2019 – GOOD NEWS MAY BE COMING OUT SOON
For all of you who have been calling and emailing, PLEASE KEEP DOING SO!
Your help and providing us information and documents on this case have really moved it forward.
HAVE YOU MOVED? If this case settles and Williams-Sonoma doesn’t have a correct address for you, you might not be able to participate. We know of some of you, but it might help you and it may well help our case for you to contact us.
Or has anything happened to you or anyone else there for complaining about your pay or breaks or working conditions? Let us know!
Thanks again. We hope to hear from you or anyone else who worked there whenever you have a chance.
Update: February, 2019 – A year later, and Williams-Sonoma, Ryder Last Mile and MXD don’t want to provide documents helpful to our case
Did you drive or are you driving for Williams-Sonoma, or Ryder Last Mile or MXD in California since 2014 – starting about 5 years ago?
If so, you might have documents which could help us with our case. Things like schedules, agreements, texts from your phones, emails, timesheets would help. So would Evaluation Scores and photos of Charts at warehouses re tests.
So would copies of Identification (“ID”) cards, Instructions, and Advertisements for positions at Williams-Sonoma, MXD or Ryder Last Mile.
We’d also be grateful for pictures of clothing you had to wear while driving for any of those companies.
Were you fired from any of those companies? Can you send us copies of the document which said you were let go or terminated? That would also help.
Finally, do you have cell phone bills for when you had to use your own cellphone for work? Please also send those along.
You can email them to tom@falveylaw.com, or mail them to Falvey Law offices, 550 North Brand, Suite 1500, Glendale, CA 91203.
Thanks very much. We hope to hear from you soon!
